and travel soccer play, primarily in the fall season. Players
between the ages of 4-14 participate in practice and game sessions
starting in mid-August and running through mid-November.
Towsontowne Soccer seeks to establish and maintain
a play environment where players find joy through participation in
sport, where practices and games are fun, and where player effort and
development is valued, acknowledged and encouraged.

In-House
Program: Towsontowne Recreation Council offers
soccer for interested youths between the ages of 4 and
13. The In-House Program emphasizes, particularly for
younger children, small-sided games providing players
with maximum opportunity to handle the ball, build skills, and
experience the fun of recreational soccer. The Program
welcomes players of all skill levels and includes the following
groupings: Academy IV (co-ed); Clinic 5 (co-ed); Under
8 (boys & girls); Under 10 (boys & girls); Under 12
(boys & girls); and under 14 (boys & girls).
The Program will commence in late August, will run through mid
November, and will include both instruction and games. The Academy
IV group (4-year olds as of August 1, 2011) and Clinic 5 group
(5-year olds as of August 1, 2011) will meet once per week on
Saturdays. The other age groups will meet twice per week, typically,
once on Saturdays and once during the week.
Age determination date is August 1st 2011.
Travel Team Program: Towsontowne Soccer sponsors travel teams at most levels (U8
through U14) for both boys and girls. The travel program
is designed for more skilled soccer players. The
travel teams provide an opportunity to play at a more competitive
level while continuing to emphasize player development. Historically,
Towsontowne's teams have been highly successful, winning many league
and tournament championships, and producing strong players who demonstrate
excellent sportsmanship. Try-outs are held in May/June, with play
typically beginning in late August. All interested players are encouraged
to try out. Please indicate your child’s interest in this program
by marking the appropriate box when registering your child. The appropriate coach will contact
you. For additional information concerning the travel program, please
contact Towsontowne Soccer Program Director, John Ward at jbward@fgow.com
