NPBC WILL BE CO-SPONSORING A FOOD DRIVE TAKING PLACE

NEXT WEEKJuly 11-15,  M-F AT SEMINARY PARK UPPER LOT TO SUPPORT THE BALTIMORE HUNGER PROJECT (BHP).

BHP IS A LOCAL, TIMONIUM BASED, FOOD BANK DISTRIBUTING FOOD TO HELP BALTIMORE COUNTY RESIDENTS. PLEASE CONSIDER STOPPING BY AT THESE TIMES 9am-12 & 5-7PM TO DROP OFF A SNACK FOR THE HUNGER RELIEF PROJECT. ATTACHED WILL BE A LIST OF WHAT CONSTITUTES ACCEPTABLE DONATIONS. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION INTO DONATING FOR A GOOD CAUSE.

The Baltimore Hunger Project is a Timonium based not-for-profit supplying food to local children. You can find out more about them by clicking on the link above.  Please no monetary donations this time, just snacks! 

Sample Goodies (include one):
Candy, Rice Krispe Treat, Pop-Tarts, Cheese-its, Cookies, Cheetos/Puffs, Snack Cake, etc.

Sample Healthy Snacks (include two):
Applesauce (pouch only), Kind Bars, Granola Bars, Goldfish, Cereal boxes/bowls, Fruit Snacks/Fruit Roll-ups, Pretzels, Wheat Thins, Teddy Grahams, Popcorn

Sample Protein Snacks (include two):
Beef jerky, Peanut butter crackers, Cheese’n crackers, Trail Mix, Protein Bar

Snack Bag Dos and Don’ts
DO follow the formula above for the right mix of items in a bag.
DO place the snacks in gallon-sized zip-top storage bags ONLY.
DO choose snacks that are individually wrapped by the manufacturer.
DO include a plastic spoon for snacks that cannot be eaten by hand.

DON’T create your own individual ziplock bags of snack foods.
DON’T choose delicate snacks that can smush/crumble too easily.
DON’T make/bake snack items. Snacks must be store bought.
