13-15 In-house

(For 13, 14, and 15-year-olds as of September 1, 2023). Fee $125
Two or three practices at the beginning of the season and then games on Sundays and Tuesdays or Thursdays each week. We combine our league with Lutherville-Timonium Recreation Council 13-14 in-house basketball which makes for a very fun competitive league. Games are at Park School, Carver A&T HSRC, or Ridgely Middle School-Recreation Center.

13-15 League – Games are generally scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Sundays. Boys age 13, 14, and 15 as of September 1, 2023, are to report to Ridgely Middle School on Sunday, October 22.

We recommend all boys interested in playing to register and come to the evaluations on Oct 22. This will ensure a spot in the program if they do not make their high school teams. Refunds will be given to those who make their high school team.

14-15-year-olds 6:30-7:30 pm at Ridgely Middle.
13-year-olds 7:30-8:30 pm at Ridgely Middle.

Siblings in the same age group will be placed together.

Other special requests (i.e. play with friends, placement for carpool, no practicing on certain nights) will not be considered. With the number of registrants and the already difficult logistics of team selection, it is impossible to consider all requests, much less effectively honor them. Participation in youth recreation sports provides an opportunity for each player to make new friends and learn additional social skills and life lessons. We can guarantee that if your child wants to have fun, he will.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION-TRAVEL

Travel play opportunities are available for the 8-year-old. 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14 age groups.

Towsontowne travel basketball has grown steadily in the past several years. All are encouraged to try out for travel. It is competitive but offers a chance to learn advanced basketball skills and compete at a higher level. (To parents of 9-year-olds: We always keep a good number of 9-year-olds to get them acclimated to the travel program)
Everyone who plays travel must also play in-house. NO EXCEPTIONS except for boys in 8th grade and up who play on a school team. Then if a child makes a travel team, they will have an option to not play in-house.
To sign up for travel you must pay the $225 additional travel fee in advance on the website.  If your child does not make a team or decides not to play, you will receive a full refund of the travel fee.
